As industry leaders in the quest for sustainable packaging, Danbury Oils has been promoting the use of our Returnable Drums for over 40 Years!!
At Danbury Oils, we package our own oils giving us the opportunity to provide our customers with a sustainable, environmentally friendly, fully recyclable oil container. Our robust plastic drums are filled, delivered, collected, cleaned and refilled hundreds of times before being fully recycled at the end of their useful life. This system reduces the use of single use plastics within our industry and has the added benefit of reducing your refuse costs!
We have a custom built drum washer on site which cleans the drums thoroughly whilst being water and energy efficient.
In order to minimise our diesel usage, the miles driven by our vehicles and our impact on the environment, we operate a system of delivery runs by area on a weekly/fortnightly rotation.
We collect waste oil from our customers on our regular delivery runs which we filter at our factory before sending to our trusted agent. The used oil we collect is recycled and used in the production of bio diesel.
